_Les Misérables_ is like a short-term relationship: stressful, suspenseful and ends horribly. Seriously, I was all set to give this film about the injustices in the Parisian suburbs a 'recommend' because of its energy, intensity and relevance (but despite its lack of originality and weak lead actor), until the lazy ending which gives 'misérable' a new meaning.
