This film is a very bizarre combination of werewolf horror, coming-of-age drama and teen romance. It's flawed and uneven but also brimming with charm. Though it really struggles with pacing and balancing the tone which make it hard to fully engage with the story and the coming-of-age drama only deals in a surface level, I still found this little film strangely endearing for the most part. It has decent amount of fun enjoyable moments and there's just something about the carnival/theme park setting that is appealing and brings such a unique sense of character which really helps to hold my attention. Also, I was definitely not expecting to see a young Shawn Ashmore here, so it was kinda funny.
