I remember loving this movie when it came out and I recently went back and watched it again. While I can't relate to the mental illness / loneliness part of the equation, I can completely relate to wanting to find a "tribe" of people that are like me. To be honest, I had completely forgotten about the ending - it was exactly as it should have been, because that was the point. I think what spoke to me the most was the intimacy that the characters have. The viewer feels that they are in the room with them, and that we feel it too. I was smitten with Astrea Campbell-Cobb in particular as her performance very much reminded me of Emily Lloyd in I Wish You Were Here.
