An interesting film with some nice twists, a few of which you can see coming. Hitchcock doesn't disappoint here. While the movie is a little slow to start, it becomes satisfying as it nears the finish. Ingrid Bergman is very good here and Gregory Peck is just okay as his character is in a funk throughout most of the picture. The ease with which the psychiatrists analyze Peck's dreams was rather silly. The Salvador Dali-inspired dream sequence was very interesting. Not the best Hitchcock movie but still entertaining.
the scenes about dreams are so avant garde
Beautiful cinematography and a true Hitchcock movie.
Love this movie - I found the dream sequence and childhood incident disturbing as a child. Just rewatched after >40 years. Twists and turns. The sort of movie that provides clues to the solution early on
Another classic Hitchcock that is intriguing and full of suspense as one is used to by the master.
