Sinopsis
1992. En Los Ángeles se producen fuertes disturbios a raíz de la absolución de varios policías implicados en la paliza al taxista negro Rodney King. En medio de ese caos vive una madre divorciada (Halle Berry) de familia afroamericana, que intentará encontrar y proteger a sus hijos en una ciudad en la que reinan los conflictos y la violencia.

The L.A. riots of 1991 deserve so much better than this _Purge_ clone. It doesn't bode well for the director when the actual news footage is the best part of this film. Rewatch _Detroit_ instead.

Aside from some Daniel Craig heroics on a lamppost, this is an effective microcosm of one family's life during the Rodney King riots. As ever, the film will evoke fury in those who are tired of police and law court injustices.
