Another cliche romantic comedy that is running low on both romance and comedy. This is about Chris, and Sonia. They've been together for... well, I don't know, it was never said - or I missed it because I was so bored. Anyway! Chris wants to marry Sonia, but she's not so sure. That's as much of the plot as I think I need to share, you get it. There were so many problems with this, and I may as well start with the casting: Militoli, and Soder may have been fine individually, but whoever decided to cast them together... death penalty! I'm not going into Chris' character, I hated him. This is Sonia's movie, and she was okay, but she is so naive, you'd think she was twenty three, but it is stated that she is thirty. Easily the worst part about this was the story. It is so clunky, and packed with too much information about auxiliary characters, and not enough about our couple. The winding path Sonia takes to arrive at the cliche ending we all know is coming had me questioning my choices in life. What the movie feels like is a long episode of Sex and the City, only without the context or attachment to the characters. We spend too much time on scenes that don't matter. There are moments of animation that feel totally out of place. Components of the story feel like they were parts of short films jammed into one feature. When I see a movie like this, I have to do some research to understand what happened, and big surprise, the writer/director of this only made one film. Outside of that, she has only done composition work for other films. Huh, isn't that weird? That's what Sonia did. It's almost like this is autobiographical. Not recommended.
Quirky piece of fluff... it won't change your life but the sharply funny script makes it a fairly entertaining watch.
