Narra la historia de Brandon Burlsworth, posiblemente el mejor 'walk-on' (término que se utiliza para aquellos deportistas que están dentro del equipo pero que no reciben beca deportiva) de la historia del fútbol universitario.

This movie is just a beautifully put together movie. The story is inspirational and it showcases the value of hard work and dedication.
It would be a much better story if it wasn't so much about how great god is instead of showing the guy's achievements and overcomings in sport and life.
It's too slow and impersonal for me to care about Brandon. I can see why some people would like the movie, as it's very close for me to like it as well. It tries to be emotional, inspirational, dramatic and humorous and the wrong moments. It honestly feels like a good script with a pretty bad director leading the show... Which is ironic as it's the same dude. Maybe that's the problem.
Was this a hallmark movie? Too much Christianity and love, and not much football.
This is a TRUE story of a young man who seemingly had no talent and no hope... But he kept trying and ignored all those who said he didnt have it in him. Very similar to "Rudy" in that sense.
"You prepared to run out of that tunnel next season? You are gonna be a starter Brandon." Brandon: "hahahahah!!!!! Sorry coach, this is the first time in life where something I wanted came so easy." "Easy? Brandon. It may have took a few seconds to say you are starter, but it was years of your hard work that gave me a reason to say it. You are living proof that when you do the right things, good stuff happends. And you have done everything right. ENJOY IT!"
Supposidly Brandons locker is still encased in glass in the razorback lockerroom :) The type of story that can translate into anything(not just football), and it is beautiful, and great.
