Less propping up of MJ the main, but it’s replaced by more famous talking heads with nothing to do with the artist or album and most damningly, Kobe Bryant using it all to prop himself and ‘his generation’ up and Spike Lee 100% knew about Kobe at this point so. Yeah.
WHERE IS A SIXTH STAR FOR THIS. AMAZING!!!! I put this on at 1:30am while laying in bed. I'm worried it's too late, I said. I'll fall asleep, I said. It's now 3:30 and I am up and wired. I watched every second of this sitting up and tapping my feet. Such an amazing documentation of an important transformation in MJ's career. It's so friggin' great. You take for granted when someone is this talented like they were tapped by the heavens to create like they do. What you don't realize is the amount of hard work and practice they put into it. Watch this and try not to put together an MJ playlist by the time it's over. It's impossible.
