I'm not a big fan of Chris Farley as a performer. Personally, I didn't find him as funny as others seem too. However, judging from the comments of the people in this doc, Chris was a very nice man and so it is sad that he died at too young an age. As a documentary it is sometimes too congratulatory. Everybody has nice things to say about him but they say it until it becomes cloying and sentimental. There should have been more time spent on the darker side of Chris, not to criticise him, but to show how celebrity and stardom can lead to a poor self image as one tries to please too many people, and a dependancy on drugs and alcohol as coping mechanisms. His story is a common one in Hollywood; Chris had support from his friends but stardom came at a price.
