This was an exellent movie. When you know a movie is going for your emotions and you prepare but it still gets you. It's never overbearing in the theme of race which was a concern. It's a pure story of caring. The acting is superb. Sad the female actress never did much later on and I read the suffered depression her whole life and committed suicide by jumping from a window. Such a shame.

I really loved the acting here. Sidney Poitier is amazing; he brings so much energy to this role. Elizabeth Hartman did a good job as well.
