John Carpenter lends his directing talent to one of the three stories here. His segment is the first and best of the lot about a woman who is stalked at a gas station. He also acts as host of the anthology and shows some comedic skills that really aren't surprising if you've ever seen him interviewed. The other two stories are not so good, even though one features some terrible but fun stop motion effects and the other stars Mark Hamill. This is ultra-campy and features a lot of '90s gore. It's not anything I'll ever bother to watch again and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a Carpenter freak.
The world needs more coroner John Carpenter.
The Coroner bits and the first segment are pretty good. Segment 2 is... not great. Segment 3 had something going for it but the execution was kind of poor (Mark Hamill was great though!)
This was great - I was pleasantly surprised. Well done stories and really funny!
It's nothing special but worth a watch. I liked the gas station part. Pretty entertaining for horror fans. I enjoyed the cameos!
