The best thing about this biopic/documentary were the numerous tributes paid by those fighters who had the opportunity to step into the ring against Muhammed Ali…arguably the greatest boxing champion of all times. To hear these men give respect to someone who, in many fights, made them look inferior, amateurish, and outclassed, speaks not only of Muhammed Ali and his ability but also speaks to the honor of those men who are big enough to recognize Ali's skill and ability…even at their own expense. The only reason I can't give this a much higher rating is simply because it is, quite honestly and very tragically, very hard to understand what many of them are saying…due to their age and the toll that professional boxing has taken on so many of them. If you're a fan of the sweet science, you'll probably enjoy this but be cautioned that there ARE many scenes where the fighters (opponents of Ali) are quite difficult to understand. We all love watching these modern-day gladiators but many (if not most) of them face a debilitating end.
