An earnest attempt at a Hausu kind of thing. It takes a while to find its footing, but I thought it was alright.

Basically the 80s version of _Hausu (1977)_ and I hated that film with passion! This one was less insufferable though. Their screams weren't that annoying.

Such a weird nonsensical storyline with scenes that don't feel related that I had to check Wiki to make sure this wasn't an anthology. Everything should make sense once you learn the alternate title for the movie; *Time Warp Terror*—except it still doesn't make sense at all. I can't see how all this connects. This madness is at least mildly entertaining, there's more diversity of creatures in this movie than an entire season of *Creepshow*. Decent score. Shit characters and acting. Laughable and cheesy in a bad way. Hardly New Year holiday related. Cool poster though!
