@BenFranklin....Me too..Fond memories as a kid. I think it is why i love movies in big wide open spaces..2 of my all time favourite movies are "The Straight Story" and "In To The Wild" subconsciously i reckon my love of these types of film stem back to this movie from childhood...oh and my love for acoustic and country music. The same way watching "Southern Comfort" as a kid got me into cajun music and visits to the deep south and New Orleans. A lot can be learned in our formative years , its something im aware of in my own kids. I don't force but make them aware of certain types of movies and music. Saying that the movie is harmless fun and bought back a lot of memories...now i need to watch the sequel.
