Good movie. A bit overacted.

It is a very archaic children's film.

Fun adventure, if a bit on the long side. Douglas Fairbanks is having the time of his life being a ham, but his performance is remarkably physical and beautiful to watch–he moves like a cat or a gymnast as he leaps and bounds around the screen. The sets are pretty magnificent and the special effects are often eye-catching. Interesting to see how much of Aladdin was taken from early influences like this.
