In terms of a biopic, this was okay at best. The production quality was not the culprit: the issue was that this covered basically nothing more than Dave Bautista's return to professional wrestling after a 4-year hiatus. And that's ALL that it covered. They stretched a 10-minute story into a 37+ minute tale by adding stuff that had nothing to do with Batista's wrestling career: the Imperials low-rider car club in LA; a couple of anecdotes and stories about his Hollywood break, working with Vin Diesel, etc. There was few minutes spent on how his wrestling gear wasn't right on the night of his big return, how he was unused to being boo'd by the fans (and it hurt), etc...but by and large, there was practically nothing to this and that's why I have to give it low marks. I've always been a fan of Batista since he burst onto the professional wrestling scene back in the NWA and Jim Crockett Promotions, and few wrestlers got my adrenaline going the way this guy did, so I was really looking forward to watching this. When it fired up and I saw that it was only a 37-minute film, I knew I would be disappointed, and I was not wrong. There was so little to this that it basically wasn't worth watching. If you want to see a full-length about Dave Bautista's in-ring career, this isn't it.
