Finely crafted film by Coppola and Lucas about an optimistic and relentless inventor. Hopeful and inspiring, embodies the American spirit. Great portrayal of Preston Tucker by Jeff Bridges. The fact stories like these aren't greenlit any longer by the major studios should tell you one or two things about the state of things.

exceeded my expectations. starts a little slow but really had me at the end. just as relevant in 2025 as it was in 1988 and 1945.

A fascinating movie, based on real events, about a man who had a dream and did not want to give it up despite virtually everybody trying to stop him. Excellent entertainment.
