Sinopsis
Argentina. Benjamín Espósito es oficial de un Juzgado de Instrucción de Buenos Aires recién retirado. Obsesionado por un brutal asesinato ocurrido veinticinco años antes, en 1974, decide escribir una novela sobre el caso, del cual fue testigo y protagonista. Reviviendo el pasado, viene también a su memoria el recuerdo de una mujer, a quien ha amado en silencio durante todos esos años.

“There’s one thing he can’t change. He can’t change his passion.” That what this incredible movie is all about: passion in different shapes and sizes. A bit slow at times, but so well acted and interesting. With an amazing ending!

SAW THIS FILM BY A RECOMMENDATION FROM A FELLOW FRIEND & BROTHER AND BOY AM I THANKFUL TO HIM FOR THAT. THE PREMISE IS AROUND A RETIRED LEGAL COUNSELOR WHO WRITES A NOVEL HOPING TO FIND CLOSURE FOR ONE OF HIS PAST UNRESOLVED HOMICIDE CASES AND FOR HIS UNRECIPROCATED LOVE WITH HIS SUPERIOR - BOTH OF WHICH STILL HAUNT HIM DECADES LATER. THE WAY THE FILM MANAGED TO WEAVE THROUGH THE LIVES INTERSECTED IN THE CASE WAS SHOWN BRILLIANTLY AND THE UNRECIPROCATED LOVE LEFT ME HANGING FOR MORE. THE FILM ENDED UP AS A MEMORABLE ONE & MORE THAN A WORTHWHILE WATCH FOR ME. "IT'S ALWAYS IN THE EYES"
