Cuenta la historia de amor entre un vivo y una no-muerta, Beth, quién tras un trágico accidente volverá a la vida para proseguir con la relación con su novio, si bien evidentemente no le será nada fácil.

Aubrey's performance was a blast, as always, but even that could not have saved that movie
A fun movie at times but ultimately dumb and forgettable.
I know I'm a bit late to the party with this one since it was released in 2014 but damn was it an excellent party! Aubrey Plaza takes a break from playing characters who are dead on the inside to play a character who is dead on the outside as well. After dying suddenly, she returns to life as a Zombie and reconnects with her family and boyfriend. But the longer she is back the more her brain decays leaving only the angriest (and apparently horniest) parts of her in tact. Though there is a lot of set up, once things begin to devolve this movie is truly hilarious. In this way, it is the Home Alone of the zombie film genre and I loved every minute of it.
Expected forgettable romantic zombie comedy, delivered forgettable zombie comedy. I don't know what kind of expectations others have for an obvious fun and forget nonsense movie, but for me it was all okay.
Quirky horror romance comedy that doesn't fully accomplish what it aims for but I had fun watching it. I really like the idea of taking zombie outbreak and turning it into emotional drama about grief and relationship. I was really invested in the story at first until it became meandering and unfocused. It tries to do so many things and ends up not doing any of them particularly well. It's pretty short but I find the pacing is far too slow. I'm not sure how I feel about the lead character. He has this confused grieving boyfriend look but his motivations are muddled. That said, there are some entertaining moments that I genuinely enjoy. It's certainly not the best but also not offensively horrible.
