A story with the typical characteristics of Ermanno Olmi's later work, _Centochiodi_ is a film with a simple plot but one that easily achieves the director's (supposed) goal. A fierce clerical critique that embraces the deepest and most authentic original message of Christianity. With Raz Degan stealing the show, whose only real flaw is the need for dubbing, and a handful of actors, many of whom are supporting characters, _Centochiodi_ succeeds in the evergreen opportunity to make its audience reflect on their modern condition. One of the last chances to appreciate the great Italian director on the big screen.
