This isn't the best "high school movie" i've seen but it's still really good and has layers unlike most movies in this genre so it was a nice surprise. John Cusack and Ione Skye are both great.

Finally caught up with this one. I've been a sucker for early John Cusack movies ever since I saw 'The Sure Thing'. This wasn't quite as good but had several laugh out loud moments, a great cast, some very tender lines and a nice pay off that doesn't wander on the wrong side of sentimental.

Teenage Love. They don't make movies like these anymore.

Honestly as a love story this is like kinda like the base flavor of Vanilla... I like Vanilla but let's be real, it's not exactly the most exciting thing. Although I think this movie does set up a really good base as to what a love story movie should be, meaning if you even remotely like this movie then chances are you'll probably enjoy other romance movies that use this movie as sort of the groundwork for other romance movies. So yeah, it's a pretty good movie, I give it like a 7/10.
