Another great piece of Australian horror on Tubi. This is a twisted, morbidly funny love story, anchored by bizarre characters that you can’t help but find them ridiculously entertaining. It takes a while to get into but I find its relentlessly dark tone hilarious and hard to resist. It requires a morbid sense of humor to enjoy it, which I apparently have. The chemistry of the lead characters is strong and the morbid elements are appropriately integrated into the story. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of this film is how it manages to keep the sweetness and adorableness consistent despite its twisted aspects. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this. It’s not for everyone but there's enough bizarre intrigue and morbid comedy for lovers of dark comedy.
