"I'm The Batman And Your Dust" Super creative awesome Batman animated flick. I remember the batman from when I was a kid never got around to watching this movie. If you enjoyed the show you'll enjoy this movie it's just as creative and fun as the original show.
This is by far my favorite batman version. The characters look great and the stories are mostly enjoyable.
The Caped Crusader meets his deadliest challenge in _The Batman vs. Dracula_. When the Penguin accidentally awakens Dracula, Gotham experiences a rash of disappearances as Dracula builds a vampire army. It’s an interesting merger of the DC Universe and Bram Stoker’s literary classic, however Dracula gets defanged a bit in order to tone down the violence and gore. Still, the animation style does a good job at complimenting the dark, gothic tones through the coloring and character designs. A fascinating animated feature, _The Batman vs. Dracula_ takes an intriguing new look at the Dracula legend.
INot something we desperately needed. It definitely isn’t the best Batman animated film. Though for some reason I am drawn to it every Batman day. It was nice to get one movie from The Batman animatedly series as well. Even if anything related to the 1990’s Animated series, is far superior. The Batman was an uniquely animated version of Batman nevertheless. That took the character more seriously than Batman Forever or Batman & Robin, at least. Batman vs Dracula does work more than camera shots of Batman’s butt after all. I also felt as if The Batman series was slight inspiration for Heath Ledger’s Joker. Had the long hair look. Even had the line “Batsy,….you complete me.”
It is quite a feat to have very, very low expectations and even fail to meet them. Yes, Batman against Dracula - all right. The Bat against the Creature of the Night. I bet some writer thought this to be very clever. To be honest, it is lame. I also hated the animation - not so much the style but the execution. Batman looks terrible and Bruce looks like a total jerk. A red haired Penguin ? And what about this Joker ? What's the deal with the capes that look like they are wearing evening dresses when they stand still. Terrible.
