A patchy script sometimes undermines the talented players. It's a pretty good film overall, but with a tighter narrative it could have been better.

> "Ex malo bonum. Out of bad comes good. That's what people like you and me are put on this earth to prove." What starts off as a comedy of sorts gets dark and real by the end. It's a good reflection on hierarchy. Chris Evans has this energy to him that is creepy but also charming at the same time.

Mixture of coming of age, family drama, and elite society commentary all in one. The setting does a great job of providing nice shots and a sense of atmosphere. The theme is of the tribe is not only the story but essential to Finn's mindset. Fierce People does a great job of warming you to Finn straight away as you feel for him. He doesn't overplay the victim and instead comes across as relatable. It's a thinking persons movie to a degree but I wouldn't call it super deep. What impressed me the most was how all the layers of this movie worked together. The acting is great. The dialogue is acceptable.
