It's a mixture of several films but fails to capture there individual charm of create it's own. Acting is outright bad, writing is inconsistent! In one scene Abhishek is able to shoot people with precision while riding a bike at over 200Km/h or try shooting people from a flying motorboat. In another, he isn't able to take down a person, coming towards him, in a straight line. FUCK THESE MOVIES FOR EXISTING. they have no redeeming qualities!
Pure style. Looking back, the story isn't anything extraordinary and some parts definitely show their age, but the energy never drops. It knew exactly what it wanted to be - bikes, robberies, cool entrances and a whole lot of attitude. John Abraham was the X-factor. Calm, stylish and effortlessly cool. Every time he showed up, the movie found another gear. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra's dynamic remains one of the franchise's strongest ingredients. The action may look simpler today, but the chase sequences still have that old-school charm. More than anything, Dhoom changed the game. Suddenly everyone wanted leather jackets, superbikes and that title track on repeat. Not the best written film. But sometimes impact matters just as much as perfection.
Since 1 star is the lowest, I'll give one extra star for the songs
