Watched this movie after reading a lot of really positive reviews about it. There is not much to say about that film except that it was a huge disappointment, I mean, the story is incoherent: every 5 minutes or so I got annoyed by something that did not make sense at all, it felt like I was watching a cinemasins video. So yeah, you can watch this movie it's pretty short and entertaining but the incoherences are so huge it's irritating. Really don't see how people can rate it 10/10.
The movie is so boring and silly. I can't believe I wasted my time watching this till the end while I could have watched better movies. The story is silly, looks like the author haven't much imagination. It was just the basic. I was always expecting something more interesting to happen, but then the movie ended.
Love it. Best Sci-fi movie ever!!.
This movie was recommended through Trakt. No high expectations, but a very good flick! Highly recommended!
"Moon" is a shout-out to films like "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Alien". It doesn't borrow from either of those two great movies' storylines but it does emulate the pacing and storytelling styles of each. For people who like explosions and laser blasts in their science fiction you won't find any here. "Moon" is a very quiet very slow movie. The special effects are more than acceptable and largely CGI-free but most of the effects are simple shots of a rover traversing the moon's surface. This is basically a one-man show. Sam Rockwell plays the part of Sam Bell the sole "man-on-the-moon" an astronaut whose job is to run a mining operation that provides a bounty of energy for Earth. While I liked the movie the story is only really about Sam's isolation. It's a very small and personal story even though the setting of the film is grand in scale. I actually rated this a little higher than my overall enjoyment of the film justified. I did so because the style of "Moon" is more to my liking than the aforementioned explosion and laser filled variety so prevalent in today's Sc-Fi offerings.
