Really wish norton would have stayed on to play hulk throughout the other movies. He’s a way better banner than Ruffalo
Great motion picture representation of the Hulk as I always knew him. Spectacular, well done.
Mindless action, not much of a story. In my opinion Norton does a great job in the chasing scenes, and the Hulk action scenes look great (although they are too much and too long), but they don't really fit together in the same movie. I guess Hulk is great as a side character, but too difficult a character and story to fill a 90 minute movie with. Conclusion: worst movie in the 'Avengers' series, and I won't be watching again.
Don't forget to watch Ang Lee's 2003 film before you see (or rewatch) this one: it's a way better film, for which The Incredible Hulk serves as a sort of retconned unofficial sequel. (But beware: it's not your usual superhero flick.)
This really don’t feel like a MCU film crazy to think it’s one of the ones that started it all and you can kinda tell back then they didn’t really know what direction they wanted to go either because the plot here didn’t have much to it at all. For me Edward Norton just doesn’t suit Hulk, Mark Ruffalo just adds so much personality and character to the role. The story is pretty bland couldn’t get into it most of it is just the army chasing Hulk which was boring to watch. Tim Roth/Abomination was probably the highlight of the movie the part where he was running really fast looked weird but funny to watch, he’s completely different to what he’s like in she-Hulk talk about character development feels like a different character the fight and action sequences with him and hulk was also great. Honestly not much else to say about this one the second half was a improvement on the first half of the movie but still didn’t save this from being just a average instalment to the MCU and is one of the lowest on my list.
