Leonardo DiCaprio Performance Was Award Worthy Johnny Depp Character was also Great But Leo Stole The SHOW
BTW Gave this Movie 8.2/10 DiCaprio and Depp we're AMAZING!!!!!!
Very good movie with even better acting performances. Dicaprio plays a mentally challenged boy to perfection. Johnny Depp lets his eyes speak his emotion. Great story of struggle and responsibilities of family, and the balance for personal freedom.
I thought this was one of the better dramas that I have seen in a long, long time. The story is a simple one - all of the characters are stuck in a place where they don't want to be. They're all looking for their liberation. Do they find it? I know that DiCaprio got a lot of credit for his portrayal of a disabled boy and much of the credit was deserved. I know I've written about this before (and it was addressed in _Tropic Thunder_) but I have never been impressed by an actor playing this character. Depp was by far the best thing to happen to this film, although for the first time in a long time I could stomach Juliette Lewis in a role. Finally, a movie without flash or special effects. Just a good story, that's all I ask.
Good movie and performances. I got annoyed after a while with Arnie. Kind of a one trick pony character and we see that trick a lot. Some characters felt unresolved like Betty and Tucker. The started out good but what was the point? A plot full of coincidences and things happened just at the right time. Glad I watched it but I think it's a little overated.
