[DOK.fest] One of the director's best "time-lapse documentaries", establishing different levels of narration. The diary written by Petr, the father; the rebellious life of the first-born Honza (the baby in the short film "Miracle" (1975)); and the political trajectory of the Czech Republic, represented in the constant presence of the song star Karel Gott. These different layers, however, fit together perfectly.
