Great opening and cast, but the rest of the movie is rather dull except for a few single scenes. I'd rather watch "Heat" (1995) again instead of this.

With an amazing cast and a cool trailer I thought this movie was not to be missed, but this movie missed the mark. Too slow at parts and at certain points just plain ridiculous. The story wasn't pieced together right and it should have either been action packed or a deep story not a weird combination of both and too many main players, I didn't even get invested in them. If you haven't seen it then you shouldn't

It‘s like they gave millions to the casting department and twenty bucks and change to the writers in charge to come up with a good story and character development.

So much going on that I couldn't really follow it well, expected a lot more and was left disappointed.

>"Fucking cop." Inside jobs, dirty cops, heists.. these are things I love to see in movies. Ok, maybe not dirty cops as much, but heist movies in general are fun. Triple 9 has some intense moments, but even with this stellar cast the fun aspect of heist movies was missing.
