I laughed a lot when I saw it at the theaters. Happy Madison has done worse, much worse.
_Paul Blart: Mall Cop_ is a fun movie that relies heavily on Kevin James and he comes through. You can't help but like the guy and invest heavily in his character. James is becoming a combo John Belushi/Chris Farley type but it works. Of course the scenario presented here is insanely unbelievable and our hero gets the girl bit is a little too trite but you probably already know that heading in. What we get here is a nice package of laughs, action, and a Segway chase scene so there was some originality.
Thanks Reddit. Can't wait to see the sequel.
This movie as all round great, overall pretty funny with some great actors and a great length overall
> "If you remember one thing from today, it's this: the mind is the only weapon that doesn't need a holster." I made fun of this movie without watching it for many years, but now I have finally done it, and I have to say... it is not horrible. Kevin James knows what physical comedy works and what doesn't and focuses on that. It's got some laugh out loud moments, but is also a generic comedy at the same time.
