Wow this really brought back the memories of my teenage years and what an absolute icon this man is. It's so amazing that in some way you can tie TOM GREEN to a lot of the content we ingest constantly every moment of everyday. He literally single-handedly busted conventional comedy and television wide open breaking barriers and clearing the way for uncensored content that we get on social media and for the creators of it as well. Thank You Tom for documenting yourself because it couldnt have been done better by anyone else. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a decent watch and a great chronological recount of the history of Tom Green but it stops short of becoming great. One of the best parts is where Tom gets emotional talking about how cancer changed him and looking at this old footage, he can remember being a different person. It really affects him. This film needed a bit more of that. It’s clear he kind of has some rightful bitterness about the rise of Jackass but that is also barely explored. At the start there is a comment about how someone probably shouldn’t make a documentary about themselves and it’s kind of proven true. I don’t mean to harp on this but this is the guy that literally showed us his own blood and guts. I would still recommend it because it’s a great reminder of the influence he has had on everything.
