What a performance! I'm new to ALOK, but I wish I wasn't. This was masterful. Comedy is often a place for social statements, and ALOK took that to another level without sacrificing comedy or sounding preachy. They achieve this by blending poetry in with their standup, and while it originally felt like there'd be a difficulty with the balance or telling between the two, that simply wasn't the case. The balance was fantastic, and it was the right flow between the two aspects. I appreciate ALOK's worldview, which likely helps my rating, but I also feel that they really do achieve what they've set out to do. That's not easy on either of the fronts Biology! brings forward, yet they don't it in both successfully.
