It all starts promisingly, with an interesting premise and a tense, impactful atmosphere, but as the plot progresses, random scenes appear without adding to the narrative, and situations involving the relationship between hallucination and reality become repetitive. The secondary characters lack better development, even those with more screen time, and the final act is unconvincing, with sudden changes in actions and emotions that sound artificial. Despite a good start, the movie loses its way and goes on longer than it should, given how little it has to offer.
Nice wee B horror out of Australia. I felt it dragged in the middle, but it’s worth hanging around for the finale.
