It could've been worse. At least they didn't cast Pedro Pascal as Sonja.

Given my expectation of a modest production, I anticipated straightforward visuals. However, I was genuinely impressed by the extensive use of visual effects and prosthetic work on the characters and creatures. These enhancements significantly enriched the movie, and the visual effects added considerable depth to the locations, which was truly remarkable. While it remained a low-budget film, their dedication to creating a visually appealing experience was evident. Regarding the narrative, as a fan of Red Sonja, I felt the filmmakers attempted to incorporate too much into this particular film. Their ambition to impress was apparent, yet it occasionally felt excessive. I hope the next installment will allow for a more measured pace. I must admit, I appreciated some of the humor and particularly enjoyed the reference to Conan. It was certainly an enjoyable moment.

I enjoyed this movie. Good action, interesting story, not too long and a nice easy watch. 👍 Sets up for the next movie in the Franchise. 👍 Looking forward to it. Red Sonja 2!

I find this film very similar to Damsel, but of course, it's poor quality. It feels like something's missing, but I don't understand what. Some scenes felt very contrived. They've gone a bit overboard with the effects, in particular. I watched those scenes on fast-forward. The acting is passable, the effects are a bit overdone, and the script is good. If you're wondering if it's worth watching, I think it is.

A hot heroin in Late Game armor. The world needs more of that. Next time try to include coherent writing and a respect for chekov‘s gun. Also ease up on the lolcow ai dialogue and the potatoe-Camera-era-teenage-YouTube-project choreography.
