Great PPV yet again, as that is what AEW do best. Certainly I was greedy and wanted some big surprises to happen, but hey the show was great even without no big surprises. Enjoyed it.
AEW has great ppvs. Sad that someone makes sure each one has a low rating before it even starts.
Forbidden Door 2025 once again showed why this crossover concept is one of the most exciting things AEW does each year. The event carried AEW’s usual high-quality presentation, with consistently strong matches and storylines that moved forward in meaningful ways. While it may not quite reach the lofty heights of some of AEW’s other big shows this year, it still delivered plenty of in-ring excellence and big-fight atmosphere. The bittersweet note was knowing it will be the last appearance for a while from both Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay, making their involvement here all the more significant. Best Match: Okada vs Strickland Rating: 4/5 – 85% – Would Recommend
