A great heartwarming emotional roller coaster of a film. The acting is superb with not only the acting but fitting of roles by Dakota Fanning and Queen Latifa. They do a great job imitating the book about a young girl who runs away with her African American nanny from an abusive single father and men who want to kill the nanny as it is 1964. The journey they take to find their forever home with the woman/family who raised her mom is filled with many heartfelt moments in this coming of age film.
