Sinopsis
Wendell Armbruster (Jack Lemmon) es un hombre de negocios americano que se ve obligado a viajar a Italia, donde su padre ha muerto en un accidente de coche. A pesar de que tratan de ocultárselo, se entera de que su padre tenía una amante, que lo acompañaba en el momento del accidente. Cuando entra en escena la hija de la amante (Juliet Mills), la animadversión entre ellos es instantánea, pero la embarazosa situación se complica todavía más cuando los cadáveres desaparecen misteriosamente.

I'll keep this movie in mind if I want to watch a comedy where the only attempt at humour was ridiculously lame, mean, and persistent fat-jokes targeting the gorgeous female co-star. I can't honestly believe that the director behind the classics Some Like It Hot and The Apartment also helmed this. 4/10

I don't get why they keep saying the female lead is fat... it kinda ruins the whole thing cause she's definitely not

was good, Billy Wilder never disappoints, although this is not one of his best. The hotel manager is a scene stealer
