bwaaahahahahhahahahhahhahahahha!!!! This movie is absolutely freakin' awesome!....provided it's what you're really in the mood for. If you're looking for a "good" movie, I'll tell you right now, you need to keep moving: This is absolutely awful. BUT if - as I was at the moment - in the mood for one of those incredibly "so bad, it's good" cheesy, cheap, low-budget, poorly-acted-and-even-worse-dialogue Italian horror films, then have a seat, get comfortable, and prepare to enjoy this classic from chief cheesy-Italian-horror-film architect, Bruno Mattei. The opening is hilariously bad and the film just gets worse from there: everything from the incredibly-bad dialogue to the close-up wide-eyed stares to the absolutely-perfect-for-this-film 80's thrumming musical score (complete with the occasional "sting" that lets you know that something bad is happening!) to the salivating happy-to-see-you "pit bull" chasing down a "terrified" priest running for his life from the "rabid beast". ROFL.... Color me weird but once in a great while, I just get in the mood to watch something weird - and superbly awful - like this and this one ticked off all the boxes. It even included the occasional random ultra-closeup of a cat staring into the camera so you would feel the "evil" in this movie. Creaking doors, rotting stairwells that lead into an unspeakable abyss, and "special effects" that looked like they were applied using a Hershey's chocolate bar.... this was absolutely great! But you have to be in the mood for something really, REALLY bad, and I was.
