As a Canadian board gamer who is moderately passionate about playing, I might be the closest to an ideal viewer for this documentary. I found it frustratingly meandering, however. It's supposedly "tales" from board gaming but it is really more like glimpses. It touches on competitive gaming, independent game design , a bit on why we game and even issues around representation. But it skips back and forth between people's stories and doesn't really get past the superficial with any particular strand , unfortunately. The definitive documentary about board games has yet to be made!
