[Berlinale '25] A film that is more relevant to what lies beneath than to what it shows, a latent tension that is multiplied through the frustration of the characters. And it skillfully avoids dramatic underlining, even in a very sober soundtrack by the American composer Nathan Larson. This foray into a relationship that is shaken by an unexpected event to transform itself, reflects on the nature of commitment and the stability of a loving connection that is sometimes sustained by feelings such as guilt or remorse. So, although it aims to be optimistic, it ends up leaving a bittersweet taste.
