And indeed, the propaganda worked. You’ve gone down in history. And you can rot in hell.
I didn't like the editing. I dislike this trend that they show the end of the movie and then start from the past. They showed a lot of the ending at the beginning, totally ruins the drama.
I’ve got to say, it’s pretty mind blowing just how insane that top echelon of the Third Reich was. Some of the archival footage is pretty disturbing.
I decided to spend 2 hours on yet another WW2 movie as soon as they mentioned the story.will be told from the point of view of the main character. This is always refreshing as opposed to just repeating the same old propaganda narratives we've seen hundreds of times since the end of WW2. Ironic as well, if you think about it. We rarely get to hear about Goebbels, the propaganda minister of Germany during WW2, outside of the propaganda narratives of the Allies.
"...but he will be a legendary figure in five years at least....he will be sanctified for his last great effort." Unfortunately he was right. in 2024 Hitler must be laughing in hell. Orban, Trump, Le Pen, and so many others....
