NBA TV's sugar-coated look back at the world's most dominant basketball team, on the twentieth anniversary of their Olympic victory. There's plenty of game footage and war stories to peruse, but the real point of interest is in watching ten all-world egos come to terms with the unfamiliar confines of a shared spotlight. Through grainy, previously unseen hand-held footage shot at practice, on the bus and in the Olympic village, we get a rare peek at the men behind the all-star jerseys as they slowly learn to set their pride aside and grow together as teammates and friends. It's rare humanization for a group of pedestal-sitting, larger-than-life icons at the heart of basketball's early '90s field day. Especially rousing is the footage of a spirited intra-squad scrimmage that, in retrospect, everyone involved recognized as the true moment of torch-passing between Bird / Magic and Michael Jordan.
