[Filmin] Very focused on the possibility of redemption of John Galliano after his anti-Semitic attitude, for the time it lasts the film goes far beyond the way in which businessmen like Bernard Arnault and Sidney Toledano squeeze fashion creators (suicide of Alexander McQueen, departure of Raf Simons...). And it is not very clear in the film the relevance of Galliano in the fashion world, apart from more or less superficial compliments. But it offers a unique portrait of a complex personality that seems marked by certain traumas and who ended up taking refuge in alcohol in the face of the pressure of a level of work that is incompatible with creativity, as Raf Simons declared after his departure from Dior.
Very compelling. It made me think and review my point of view of Galliano. Sobriety and remorse. Til now, one of the best documentary I saw this year.
