Why does his dad look so much like George Clooney???
★★★☆☆ (3/5) A stronger follow-up than the previous sequel, with a more personal story centered on Aladdin’s past. The introduction of the Forty Thieves adds some fun swashbuckling energy. Robin Williams returning as Genie brings back much of the spark, even if the animation and scale remain smaller than the original. A satisfying wrap-up to the trilogy.
I love goooooooold..... Objectively a step up. Saturday morning cartoon episode vibe and quality.
Loved this as a kid and I think it's still very good. Robin Williams' return as Genie is amazing, love his imitations of famous characters. And I Honestly think the story is good, not to mention how cool the scenes are of the city flooding and the hand of Midas. And Sa'luk is a scary villain!
Honestly it's not that bad of a film. It's not necessary to watch, but it's entertaining enough. If course Robin Williams is an unhinged delight, even if it feels like an extended outtake. Biggest problem is it feels unimportant. The stakes aren't very high to me..
