[Cannes '25] Although it has a political perspective by directly addressing the status of motherhood under French law, the director's interest is more focused on Céline. Adopting the position of a spectator to her child's gestation, which is typically held by men, the film questions the traditional place occupied by gender, with some scenes that have a light comedy tone. The film offers a look at motherhood from the perspective of a moral tale that reflects on the additional difficulties a homosexual couple must face.
