[VdR '23] There is a poetic tonality that is sometimes reminiscent of "The metamorphosis of the birds" (2020) in terms of the almost pictorial treatment of the images and the intimate and experimental approach to the interiors of family relationships. In a film that talks about the taboo of kept secrets, the conversation between father and son in a house with broken walls and empty spaces that serves as a stage, gives it an aspect of intimacy that somehow reflects the psychological wounds and heals that a kind of emptiness caused by shame within the family.
