I know I’m a 23 year old man watching this shit but it’s just awful I was bored in the first 20 mins. They took SpongeBob and turned into a Disney movie and it’s as bad as it sounds.

I walked in on my niece and nephew watching this and thought “huh? SpongeBob? Is that you?” Decided to join them and this is is much more unhinged and absurd than I was expecting. The animation is shit for the most part except for some really trippy scenes. I especially enjoyed Karen’s vision for dominating the universe. Some trippy ass visuals for my stoned ass. Plankton’s backstory is actually kinda sweet but Karen’s computer chip debacle is silly. I’m just glad to see SpongeBob is still alive and kickin’ to this day.

Pretty cute family fluff (although Plankton’s butt is on full display a few times), and Mr. Krabs as this full-on rebellion leader in Bikini Bottom is a cool little thing in here.
