>*"You're so needy it's pathetic."* This movie is pathetic! The art of making 90 minutes feel like 34335. ***Here After*** is a religious drama horror (light on the horror) that feels like it was made 15 years ago by people who haven't seen a single horror movie in their lives. A poor performance from Connie Britton, girl I know you need to pay your bills but this was sloppy work. The cinematography is actually the best thing about this movie, it looks bland but it's filmed decently at least. Otherwise it's incredibly flat, cliché and boring on all fronts... a contender for the worst movie of the year!
This was not the horror I was expecting, and I don’t mean that in the good way Connie Britton’s acting was almost great in this, but she just needed to take it up a notch. Like she’s crying for help and just wasn’t convincing enough. However, her wardrobe was a 10/10! We love a fashion queen Speaking of not very convincing, the surgeons not wearing protective gloves, and masks. What kind of hospital operates like this 😂 Anyways … not good
this was supposed to be a horror, I prepared myself for some demonic possession flick or something. but turned into a melodramatic supernatural soapy drama about grief? we didn't really even had a successful jump scare , which is saying something for any horror movie nowadays, everything was very flat and disconnected, like they have a bunch of half baked ideas that they mash together into a full 90 minutes movie that felt longer because nothing happened.
What a mess
