Great artist. Some awesome footage and style. But the complete lack of narrative and sequence ruined this documentary. It’s not clear in what order everything happens, how her career develops and who on earth are all the boyfriends/husbands, relatives. For those who not familiar with Donna’s biography this piece of documentary won’t help getting to know her story. It will make you frustrated as theres absolute no sense in the sequence of events. This does not diminish the awesome music she made. Just a poorly narrated documentary.

I loved Donna Summer, but this 'documentary' is just a bunch of crap family videos randomly thrown together with absolutely no cohesion. Skip it -you'll thank me. 1/10
